« I care about my life and I am always careful when I walk! », was the clear message sent by the students and teachers of Yermasogia Elementary School to all of Cyprus, during the road safety event which was organised in cooperation with CNP ASFALISTIKI, on Wednesday the 10th of April. The collective effort with Yermasogia Elementary School, aimed to increase the students’ awareness and responsibility when using the roads and to increase their road safety knowledge. For this purpose a two weeks educational program was organised at the school.
The Road Safety Campaign which was organised in close cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Culture was this year’s highlight of CNP ASFALISTIKI Corporate Social Responsibility activities for the Elementary Schools. Common objective is to educate students in order to acquire the necessary knowledge and sense of responsibility to avoid possible risks when using the roads.
The event which was held under the auspices of the Minister of Education and Culture, was addressed by the General Manager of CNP ASFALISTIKI Mr. Andreas C. Stylianou, the School Inspector, Mr. Christos Papadopoulos, the Police Traffic Department Deputy Manager, Mr. Antonis Georgiou and the Headmaster of Yermasogia Elementary School, Mr. Christos Tofas.
