WITH CNP ASFALISTIKI´s STRENGTH, CYPRUS RALLY PAVES THE WAY

The successful alliance forged three years ago between CNP ASFALISTIKI and the Cyprus Automobile Association is still very much alive, as CNP ASFALISTIKI will support the CNP ASFALISTIKI CYPRUS RALLY for the third consecutive year. CNP ASFALISTIKI, which maintains a leadership position in the Cyprus insurance market, is a part of the French multinational Insurance Giant CNP ASSURANCES, with more than 160 years of experience, 27 million insured and an Annual Premium Income of €31 billion.

CNP ASFALISTIKI has also been a front-runner for promoting and raising public awareness on the issue of road safety. This endeavor began 17 years ago and since then CNP ASFALISTIKI has managed to associate its name with road safety through a series of carefully planned and executed actions in close collaboration with the Cyprus Police Force, the Ministry of Justice & Public Order and the Ministry of Education & Culture.

The General Manager of CNP ASFALISTIKI, Mr. Andreas C. Stylianou, has pointed out that CNP ASFALISTIKI, as the main sponsor of both the CNP ASFALISTIKI CYPRUS RALLY and CNP ASFALISTIKI SUPER SPECIAL STAGE, shall continue providing its support towards the Cyprus Automobile Association and the Cyprus Rally. Mr. Stylianou went on to say that “We feel certain that the CNP ASFALISTIKI CYPRUS RALLY 2015 will be successful, maintaining its reputation as one of the toughest, demanding and enjoyable rallies in Europe and possibly the world, whilst at the same time promoting Cyprus’ natural beauty”.

The President of the Cyprus Automobile Association, Mr. Antonis Michaelides, has extended his gratitude towards CNP ASFALISTIKI for its continuous support to the “CNP ASFALISTIKI CYPRUS RALLY” emphasizing that “it is of great importance that all major organizations and groups of companies in Cyprus embrace their corporate social responsibility and provide support to the events that first and foremost promote our country. The CNP ASFALISTIKI CYPRUS RALLY will take place between the 25th to the 27th of September and shall be based in Nicosia. Our national Rally is part of two FIA regional championship rounds, the eighth round of the European Rally Championship as well as the fifth round of the Middle East Rally Championship, a fact that constitutes the Cyprus Rally unique. The organizing committee is at the final stages of the preparations and strives to ensure that this shall be the best rally yet. Both Opening and Closing Ceremonies will take place in the Finikoudes area in Larnaca. The Opening Ceremony will take place on Friday the 25th of September and the competing part will begin on Saturday morning and continue through the weekend, over which the participating crews will be called to tackle sixteen spectacular and extremely fast routes covering a total distance of 664.18 kilometers.
