The headline event of the Fire Safety Week, under the slogan, «Prevention through practice . . . is everyone's responsibility», was the Open Day Event, on Saturday May 14, at MyMall in Limasol. During the event various activities took place, with a live link with the CyBc Radio show «Kids In The Air», a firefighting exercise, exhibition of Fire Brigade vehicles and other equipment, as well as activities for children. Fire extinguishers, symbolic gifts and informative material on fire safety were given to attenders.
People's support was a fountain of strength in this joint effort. As the global experience shows, to minimize a fire risk, prevention must be on the focus of our actions.
