Fire Safety Week 24 – 30 April 2017

Fire Safety Week kicked off with a press conference held at the Amphitheatre at the Head Offices of CNP CYPRUS INSURANCE HOLDINGS GROUP, on the 24^th of April. At the event the importance of proactive actions were highlighted with the intention of avoiding the devastating consequences of fire.

Under the slogan «Learn, Act, Protect», the Fire Safety Week is being organised from 24 – 30 April 2017 and is being held under the auspices of the Honourable Minister of Justice and Public Order, Mr. Ionas Nicolaou. Awareness, prevention and protection, are the key elements of fire safety, which CNP ASFALISTIKI and the CYPRUS FIRE SERVICE demonstrate through their common actions for 16 consecutive years.

The highlight of the Fire Safety Week will take place on Sunday 30^th of April at Finikoudes Promenade at Larnaca with the Fire Brigade Competitions. Firemen from Cyprus and Greece, will compete on activities relative to their work. Moreover, during the event the attenders will have the opportunity to be informed on fire safety issues and children will enjoy activities especially designed for them with many presents.
