Panycyprian Fire Safety Campaign 11-31 May 2020 "The protection of life, property and the environment is everyone's responsibility!"

For the 19th consecutive year, CNP ASFALISTIKI and CYPRUS FIRE SERVICE join forces to inform the public, within the Fire Safety Campaign´s framework. This year a different approach is chosen, adapted to the new conditions due to the pandemic. Through this team work, it is shown in practice that the major social challenges are addressed by a collective effort and cooperation between the private sector and state bodies.

The protection of life, property and the environment is everyone's responsibility!

This is the central message of this year's Fire Safety Campaign, which aims to raise public awareness and inform the public about fire safety and protection measures, utilising the mass media, with radio messages and targeted actions and posts on Social Media.

In these unprecedented moments, individual responsibility and collective effort are as important as ever. Together, we can, not only, tackle the pandemic but also prevent the devastating effects of fires, both on our property and the environment.

Based on its social contribution and responsibility, CNP ASFALISTIKI will give a number of protective masks to the CYPRUS FIRE SERVICE in order to protect fire fighters from Corona Virus Covid-19, in the line of duty.

The 19th Fire Safety Campaign will run from 11 to 31 May 2020 with the hope to reduce fires in our country to the minimum. Every day, we are a step closer to win back our lives. We are moving forward safely and securely.
