Safety and Health: Lectures for a better life

CNP ZOIS, the largest company in the Cypriot general insurance market, in collaboration with the Department of Labor Inspection of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Security and the Cyprus Health and Safety Association, has inaugurated this year a series of lectures on safety and health issues with interest to workers and public.

The first lecture on "Electromagnetic Fields and their Impact on the Human Body" took place with great success on the 14th of May 2018 at the CNP CYPRUS INSURANCE HOLDINGS Group Headquarters Amphitheater, in Nicosia. Dr. Stelios Christofides, Expert in Medical Physics and Radiation Protection was the lecturer of this first meeting.

The General Director of CNP ASFALISTIKI Mr. Andreas K. Stylianou, the Director of the Labor Inspection Department, Mr. Anastasios Giannakis and the President of the Cyprus Health and Safety Association, Mr. Giorgos Floridi, attended the event and gave welcome speeches.

The following lecture on "Chemicals in our Life - Dangers and Protection" is scheduled for June 13, 2018 at the same venue. The lecture will be given by Dr. Tasoula Kyprianidou - Leontidou, Coordinator of the Chemical Substances Division at the Department of Labor Inspection.
