Provision of a New vehicle

Replacement of the vehicle with a new one if the damage exceeds 50% of its official purchase price if the accident occurs within the first 12 months from its original date of purchase.

CHARACTERISTICS & OPTIONS

Basic Coverage
The Basic Covers of this Insurance Program are:
- Legal liability to indemnify third parties
- Loss or damage to the motor vehicle caused by any peril that is not specifically excluded in specific areas in Cyprus (the areas of the Republic of Cyprus in which the Government of the Republic exercises effective control)
- The Insured’s legal liability to indemnify third parties when driving a private vehicle (saloon) which does not belong to him / her, his / her employer and partner or has not been rented by the people previously mentioned
- Legal liability of the passengers to indemnify third parties
- Driving the motor vehicle beyond the scope of the legal definition of the term ‘road’
- Windscreen or any other window breakage, maintaining the insurance fee in the same level, following the submission of a claim or the application of any excess
- Personal accidents concerning the insured and his / her spouse, that have to do with the use of the motor vehicle
- Temporary replacement of the motor vehicle following loss or damage
- Loss of or damage to personal belongings caused by fire or theft
- Loss of or damage to the motor vehicle caused by flood, storm, hail or earthquake
- Loss of or damage to the motor vehicle caused by riot and strike
- Replacement of the motor vehicle with a new one, if the damage exceeds 50% of its official purchase price and if the accident occurs within the first 12 months from its date of purchase

Additional Coverage
Additional Covers are offered, such as:
- Medical cover of the insured and the authorised drivers of the insured vehicle, following a motor accident
- Liability to indemnify damages whilst the motor vehicle is being towed
- Loss or damage to the motor vehicle while it’s being towed
- No claims discount protection

COVER EXCEPTIONS

This Insurance Program is subject to exceptions, such as:

war, acts of terrorism, nuclear radiation and environmental pollution and any premeditated act which amounts to a crime according to the Criminal Law
property belonging to or held in the custody or control of the Insured or any person claiming to be indemnified
loss of or damage to permanently mounted entertainment equipment, communication systems or electronic navigation equipment
natural damage to the vehicle, loss of value due to ageing, mechanical or electrical failure, tire damage
driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
